L’Arca Barcelona is a joint project of two sisters who champion the concept of sustainability through vintage pieces. Since 1980, we have lovingly selected unique and ethereal items in a singular space .

We fuse vintage tradition and antique lace with current fashion trends. We gather original vintage pieces and create unique items made with antique materials or inspired by vintage styles. The first vintage shop to open in Barcelona 40 years ago, we have been selling authentic vintage fashion and high-quality replicas ever since, carefully selected to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. We specialize in dresses from the 1920s and 30s, antique kimonos, lace, and vintage Manila shawls .

We have accessories such as fascinators, handbags, and vintage jewelry for romantic brides, elegant guests, and lovers of unique pieces. We buy antique and vintage clothing and offer an expert appraisal service. If you want to sell, it’s best to schedule an appointment with us.

Our story

We have created an exclusive workshop for the restoration and creation of “one-of-a-kind” pieces, made from antique fabrics that we recycle with a modern look.

Collectors, set designers, and textile enthusiasts will find a carefully curated selection of vintage clothing from the 19th and early 20th centuries at L’Arca. Films such as ” Vicki Cristina Barcelona ” and Titanic , as well as period television series, have drawn inspiration from our archives .

Our store

Our shop in the heart of the Gothic Quarter has been open for 50 years. It is decorated with original furniture that recreates an old-fashioned boudoir.

It has been selected as one of the 30 best experiences in Barcelona by the prestigious Soul of guide and awarded by Time out for its interior design .
