We welcome you to our website. The following terms and conditions regulate the access and use of this website, owned by Nina Balmes Viñas, whose registered office is located at Calle Banys Nous nº 20, Bajos, 08002 Barcelona with NIF 47724850B. 2. Object

These conditions are agreed between persons wishing to make a purchase through L’Arca, hereinafter referred to as “the customer” and the company l’Arca. L’Arca retains full ownership of the products until delivery and full collection of the same, including costs and fees The order implies acceptance of the general conditions of sale. The present conditions are governed by Spanish law. You can make purchases in L’Arca any person of legal age and / or capacity to contract who wishes to receive the items in Spanish territory. L’Arca does not allow the purchase of products for resale. Customers who are interested in making purchases for commercial purposes, should contact [email protected], where they will be informed about the different options to make the desired purchase.

3. Prices

It is not usual but it may happen that the selling prices indicated on the Web, are different from the selling prices of the physical store. The selling prices of the products online are indicated in euros, the prices in force at the time of the order will be applied.

For orders placed within the European Union, prices will include 21% VAT on new products, which can be broken down on the sales invoice.

The vintage or second hand products, will have the VAT included and it will not be itemized in the invoice, being the establishment adhered to the general regime of used goods, regulated by the Law 37/1992, of the Value Added Tax.

The type of product will be clear in the product type section at the top of each product card, where it will clearly state “new” or “vintage”.

Prices do not include shipping costs, which will be added to the total amount according to current rates. For orders from outside the European Union, EU VAT will not be applied. Taxes and/or duties corresponding to the country of destination shall be borne by the buyer.

4. Products

The customer can, prior to his order, collect the necessary information on the L’Arca website about the basic characteristics of the product(s) he wishes to order.

L’Arca provides the customer with all the basic characteristics of the products for sale (sizes, colors, composition, description, price) and, in the case of vintage products, determines the condition of the garment (wear, stains, etc…).

We have made a great effort to show the condition and colors of the garments as close to reality as possible. However, we want you to keep in mind that the color of the garments shown on the screen may be subject to variations depending on the quality of your computer monitor.

5. The order

Any order implies the unrestricted and unreserved acceptance of these general conditions of sale.

Any order placed with an online payment will not be taken into account until it has been validated by the bank, through the corresponding payment server. L’Arca will inform you by e-mail of the order confirmation, which contains the details of the order, the selected items, the shipping costs as well as the order number and the procedure for exercising your right of withdrawal.

6. The payment

Payment must be made at the time of completion of the order by the customer. At no time can the amounts paid be taken into account as promissory notes or payments on account.

To pay for the order, the customer has several payment options: credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Paypal, bank transfer and Bizum.

Choosing to pay by credit card, the customer will be directed to the secure payment website of the company Redsys de la Caixa which integrates SSL security standards.

The total amount of the order will be charged at the end of the order, after the order has been validated by the customer. As a complementary measure to the secure payment system and with the aim of collaborating in the prevention of fraud over the Internet, L’Arca reserves the right to verify the personal data provided by the customer, including the identity document or the card provided, and to take the measures it deems appropriate (including the cancellation of the order) so that the goods purchased are delivered in accordance with the data contained in the order.

The confidential payment details are transmitted directly and in encrypted form to the relevant financial institution and are in no case stored by L’Arca. Payment with foreign cards may be limited depending on the country of origin of the card; you can contact [email protected] if you receive an error or cancellation message when making the payment.

7. Shipments

National packages will be sent by the messaging company MRW and international packages will be sent by DHL express. Shipping costs will be added to the total cost of the order. The estimated costs and delivery times are as follows:

  • Shipments to mainland Spain and Portugal: cost 6,90 € and delivery time of 1 week.
  • Shipments to Balearic Islands: cost 12,50 € and estimated delivery time 1 week.
  • Shipments to the Canary Islands: cost 14 euros for Gran Canaria and Tenerife and 15 euros for the rest. Delivery time two weeks.
  • Shipments to Ceuta 22 euros and Melilla, cost 10 euros. Delivery time two weeks.
  • Shipments to European Union countries: cost between 23 and 32 euros (check zones) and estimated delivery time 2 weeks.
  • Shipments to United States and Canada: From 40 euros and delivery time: two weeks.
  • Shipments to other countries: From 60 euros and variable delivery time.


Free shipping costs: For shipments of more than 150,00 euros the shipping costs in Spain are free of charge. In certain periods of time set by the company, free shipping costs will be offered according to the conditions established for each moment both in the minimum purchase amount and in the location of purchase and shipping.

L’Arca reserves the right to refuse to execute the order in case of dispute with the customer, and this, until the resolution of the dispute. In such cases, the customer will be informed by email of the cancellation of your order and will be refunded the amounts, if any, paid prior to the cancellation of your order.

Orders will not be delivered to post office boxes, hotels or other non-permanent addresses. The delivery dates of the products are approximate, so L’Arca will have no responsibility if for any reason the delivery could not be made on the dates mentioned.

If it is impossible to deliver the customer’s order due to the absence of the customer at the place of delivery, the carrier will contact the customer by phone or email to set a new delivery date. As far as possible, a notice of delivery will be left at the customer’s address.

8. Refunds

Our refund and return policy lasts 20 days. If 20 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. All products are refundable except custom made veils and dresses.

Veils and wedding dresses are made to order with the measurements and lengths of each bride and cannot be returned, as specified in the corresponding product sheet. For this reason, we do not accept exchanges or returns. From the L’Arca team we want you to be convinced of your choice. Therefore, we offer you the possibility of sending you additional photos, and even a sample of the tulle and colors. For more information, before ordering, please contact us at [email protected].

To be able to make a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be in its original packaging. To return your product, take it to the nearest MRW carrier office and we will take care of the return. We will tell you by email the steps to follow.

Upon receipt and inspection of your return, we will send you an email notifying you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, we will process the refund in the original payment method, within a specified 2 days.
Only regular priced items will be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at [email protected].

9. Legal right of withdrawal

In accordance with current regulations, you have a period of 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the products, to exercise the right of withdrawal on your order; that is, you have the right to cancel the contract without having to justify your decision. To exercise this right, you will have two options; if you decide to cancel the order within 24 hours of receiving the confirmation email, you can cancel it by logging directly into your customer account. After this period of 24 hours, you must send a communication to [email protected] communicating your desire to withdraw from the purchase.

10. Claims

There are complaint forms available to the consumer in the Barcelona store.

We are at your disposal to resolve any doubts, complaints or claims you may have.

In case of defective or non-conforming products, you can send an email to contact [email protected] communicating the incident as soon as possible so we can study your case, tell you how to send us the problematic item and make, if appropriate, the refund within a maximum period of 30 days from your communication.
