Among green wheat fields: Laura and Xavi’s wedding

Laura and Xavi wanted a simple wedding, surrounded by friends and family in a rural setting. They chose a farmhouse in the Catalan Empordà region, surrounded by green wheat fields, to host a fun, family-oriented wedding with a distinctly Tuscan feel.

The story of the wedding, which lasted three days, was magnificently recreated by the eye of photographer Sara Lázaro, achieving a family and relaxed atmosphere that was also elegant and had a distinct vintage character.

Laura is a special bride. Very demanding, with exquisite taste, and a lover of antiques, she lovingly attended to every detail and moment of her wedding. With the same care, Laura arranged the tables with linen and lace placemats, gathered photos and antique tableware, hung the seating plan on a screen with Toile de Jouy motifs, and chose the style of her attire.

The dressing moment was very emotional. Laura chose shoes by Pura López and an antique tiara from L’Arca, crafted with wax orange blossom motifs, common in bridal headpieces in the 19th century. For her dress, she opted for a cotton tulle gown with a large antique Alençon collar featuring large floral vine motifs.

The light faded and the wheat fields swayed to the rhythm of the dance music that lasted until dawn.

To conclude, here are Laura’s words that sum it all up: “It was intense, special… a very nice atmosphere was created in which everyone seemed like they had been friends for a long time, and yet they had only met a few hours before.”
