THE FIRM IS IN CHARGE OF THE CONSERVATION OF THE TEXTILES IN THE MODERNIST SPACE.
For over ten years, L’Arca has been responsible for maintaining and preserving all the textiles in the period apartment located on the fourth floor of the iconic La Pedrera building. As experts in antique textiles, L’Arca meticulously attends to every detail of this space, which fully reconstructs the original elements that made up the interior of a La Pedrera apartment.
The apartment aims to recreate the life of a bourgeois Barcelona family from the first third of the twentieth century, and to achieve this, it has preserved the original layout of each room, which have been decorated with period furniture, artwork, and decorative elements and textiles. In this regard, L’Arca has taken care to preserve all the apartment’s textiles, including tablecloths, curtains, and bed linens.
