Montse and Adri met approximately 10 years ago. “He was my boyfriend’s roommate at the time; fate is so capricious,” Montse tells us.
We started dating five years ago and moved in together. Montse and Adri lived on Banys Nous street, the same street where our atelier is located in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.
“It had been a long time, in fact, every time I passed by I would stare in awe at the shop window, I was dying for the dress to be from your atelier, in the end everything was on the same street”
Montse wasn’t entirely sure what the dress should be like. What she did know was that she wanted it to be comfortable, handcrafted, and at the same time unconventional, a little bohemian. She opted for a very flowing crepe georgette dress with a central button closure and antique lace appliqués. The lace was hand-cut and inlaid into the fabric using traditional sewing techniques .
“The atmosphere of the atelier is THE BEST, it’s like stepping back in time to the 20s or 30s, I could spend hours and hours looking at all their authentic vintage jewelry.”
“I remember perfectly how I fell in love with the wonderful Noa dress. I saw your Cordelia and the Sea collection in Vogue, and there it was—I was blown away! I pictured myself in it, and it was perfect even without having seen it in person or tried it on. I was so smitten that I didn’t go to see any other dresses or try on any others.

“I’m from Sabadell and Adri is from Mexico. We used to live in Barcelona and about two years ago we moved to Sabadell, specifically to my maternal grandparents’ house.
” They have already passed away and were very special to me, so I am very excited to prepare in what was their home where I grew up, and where we now live .”
“The house is old with an Andalusian feel, quite representative of my family’s origins. I hope and wish that it can inspire you as much as it has inspired me .” And it certainly did! ” I have rarely seen a space so personal and with such taste ,” says Rebecca, the photographer of The Northern Girl , who, with her usual freedom, captured the magic of the preparations and the spontaneity of the entire ceremony.

The bouquet was from Hip&love , made of preserved flowers in powdery tones to match her Flor de Asoka shoes. Her friend Neftalí Estrada did her makeup, and she wore a vintage wax orange blossom headband in her hair.

Adri and Montse got married at Talento Studio , a renovated former carpentry workshop in a small square in the Sarrià neighborhood. This venue, decorated with machinery from an old carpentry workshop, exudes magic and harmony. With its original exposed Catalan vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, it transports guests to another world.

The ceremony was very emotional because Adrian is from Mexico and his family came to be with him that day. The distance added an extra layer of emotion.
As they entered the ceremony, “Cucurrucucú Paloma” by Tomás Méndez, performed by Silvia Cruz, played. It’s a fusion of flamenco and Mexican music, a perfect combination.
The moment Montse said her vows to her husband, she asked for a few seconds to take some deep breaths together in order to anchor themselves in that present and eternal moment.
