Photographer Mario Testino immortalizes Kate Moss with exclusive L'ARCA articles for Vogue magazine
With this striking image, fashion photographer Mario Testino immortalized several folkloric items from L’Arca’s collection for Vogue magazine’s 2012 Christmas special. In one image, model Kate Moss wears an exclusive Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and an antique Chantilly lace mantilla from L’Arca’s private collection. In another, Kate wears a ruffled print dress by Giambattista Valli Haute Couture and an antique fan from L’Arca. Finally, the model appears in a two-tone ruffled dress and gloves, both by Lanvin, and an antique hat from L’Arca.
With over 30 years in the business, photographer Mario Testino (Lima, 1954) has captured celebrities from all over the world: from Kate Moss, Gisele Bündchen, Kristen Stewart, and Nicole Kidman to the acclaimed Lady Gaga. Furthermore, Mario Testino has established himself as the official photographer of the British monarchy. He took the last photographs of Diana, Princess of Wales, and more recently, he was responsible for immortalizing the engagement of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Exhibitions in Madrid, London and Boston
Testino’s work has been exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. The photographer has also published a dozen books, most notably Mario de Janeiro Testino.
