Some weddings have soul, and Yofia’s (founder of YOFIA Flowers) is undoubtedly one of them. Celebrated in the idyllic setting of Yeguada Senillosa, her three-day wedding was a manifesto of love for the handcrafted, the personal, and the authentic.
The Dress: A 1930s piece reinterpreted
Yofia was looking for something more than just a dress; she wanted an extension of her femininity and her passion for textures. Upon entering our atelier in the Gothic Quarter, she knew her connection with Nina and Julia would be immediate. What many don’t know is that her dress began as something entirely different: an authentic vintage piece from the 1930s.
We started with an antique silk gown with original Alençon lace and transformed it into a bold, contemporary silhouette. We preserved the fabric’s history but changed its destiny, creating a long-sleeved design with a sophisticated maxi neckline and a central slit in the skirt that added a touch of freshness to any walk.
For the big day, she chose a design that embodies the ” New Vintage ” trend: delicate lace , flowing silhouettes, and craftsmanship that evokes the romanticism of yesteryear but with the comfort that a modern bride demands.
To complete this look, Yofia chose a hand-embroidered Granada lace mantilla. A free-spirited ensemble where the past is not replicated .
The “Total Look” of L’Arca
One of the strongest trends of 2025 was wardrobe changes, and Yofia took it to the next level. She wore L’Arca throughout her wedding weekend .
Reception : White shirt and skirt set (the new bridal chic).
Ceremony : The iconic L’Arca lace wedding dress with a 1930s soul and a Granada mantilla.
Recovery BBQ : A floral dress full of freshness.
A wedding designed with flowers and friendly hands
As an expert florist, Yofia designed all the decorations alongside her friend Gigi (Botanic Creatures). The organic, wildflower floral arrangements perfectly complemented the spirit of the dress.
From the shared kitchen with friends to the mother of the bride’s dress (also created by Julia in our atelier), every detail was an ode to “handmade”.
